The Fitness Fire classes Erica leads are amazing. She creates circuit workouts that are challenging and fun. She is incredibly positive and supportive. She does a great job adapting any given activity to account for injuries as needed. Every workout is complete and is as challenging as you want it to be.

It’s been several years since I began fitness training with Erica. Lower back compression had slowed me down, and had all but ended the activities that had kept me in shape during earlier years. Even an evening walk around the neighborhood was difficult to enjoy. Erica’s workout programs are customized to challenge the limits of what I can do without causing any additional damage to my back. My strength and balance are improving with each workout. I expect that surgery for the compression is inevitable, but I feel way more prepared for the post-surgery recovery battle now than before I met Erica. Bare Training is awesome!

I’ve had the benefit of being one of Erica’s personal training clients for several years. Erica does everything that you want a personal trainer to do. She invests a ton of time and effort into developing personalized workout programs for her clients. She keeps careful notes and she is constantly evaluating the areas in which her clients need to improve. Each person is different, each person progresses differently, and Erica recognizes that. She constantly challenges her clients to work hard and strive to reach the next level, telling us to “get what we came for!” But at all times, safety and good health are paramount. Erica pays close attention to form during workouts, providing corrective instructions promptly. She is always willing to adapt a workout when the situation calls for it, so that every workout is a good match for that person on that day. She also develops fitness homework for her clients as a supplement to workouts, so that we have extra tools for addressing issues like muscle tightness. Of course, it’s up to us to take advantage of that advice. Erica follows up with her clients on a regular basis to see how we’re doing, especially after particularly rigorous workouts, or to check on whether we’re doing our homework. She constantly seeks out educational resources and inspiration to improve herself as a fitness coach. She is always bringing new ideas into the gym. On top of all of that, Erica is a good, genuine person. She is incredibly enthusiastic and supportive. Erica makes the hard work of getting into shape so much fun!
